The Home Buying Process

of purchasing a home in South Eastern Michigan.


Begin your Home-Buying process, by speaking with a knowledgeable, professional. Connie is an experienced, full-time Realtor, who can guide you through every step of the process.

Determine your buying power with a lender.

Connie will begin sending you homes, that fit your criteria, when you see one you like, schedule a showing to view the home with Connie, right away.

Make your purchase offer AND write your Earnest Money Check to Re/Max Defined

Your offer is accepted and becomes a purchase contract.

By quickly applying for your mortgage it will give your Lender plenty of time to be sure to meet the time requirements on the purchase contract.

During the inspection you will thoroughly inspect the property to check it's condition. After the inspection is completed to your satisfaction, the bank will hire an appraiser to check the value of the property.

Your Lender will give you, your closing cost amount.

Receive your Mortgage Commitment Letter and provide a copy to Connie.

Your inspection is complete, your loan has been approved and you're ready to get to the closing table. Prior to closing on the sale of your new home, one final walk-through is schedule to be sure the property is in the same condition as it was when you first viewed the home.

This is what you have been waiting for. The final sale and mortgage documents will be signed and you will officially be the owner of the property!
