Welcome to Oakland Charter Township, Michigan

Located just north of Rochester and east of Lake Orion, Oakland Township has become know of the years for its landscape and luxury homes. With many new subdivisions being built the township has been growing over the last 10 years. Keep reading below to find out more about this area.

Ranked as some of the best in the state (according to GreatSchools.org), the options Oakland Township residents have for schools is large. Shopping

Although most of the shopping in Oakland Township is located near Adams and Silverbell Roads, Residents are still able to enjoy downtown shopping since they are in close proximity to Downtown Rochester and Lake Orion. The Village of Rochester is also a short drive, which allows residents to enjoy a more traditional shopping experience.

Dining

Oakland Township primarly consists of residential homes, but is in close proximity to many restaurants in Downtown Rochester, Lake Orion and The Village of Rochester.
